Where the vision comes from
Colombia Treatment Center is the next chapter of a treatment vision that began in Costa Rica in 2016 and grew into Costa Rica Treatment Center. It is being developed as its own organization for Colombia, with its own clinical policies, licensing and operating systems. Read our founder's story.
What we are building
The concept is a small-footprint residential program for adults, with an emphasis on individualized clinical planning, co-occurring mental-health care, family involvement, recovery skills, wellness routines and international continuity of care.
What we are not claiming
The center is not yet open, is not currently accepting patients and should not be represented as a licensed Colombian healthcare provider until the required legal, registration and service-habilitation steps are complete.
Development priorities
Current priorities include site selection in the hills outside Medellín, legal and regulatory structuring, clinical governance, staffing, medical partnerships, facility design, operating policies, admissions infrastructure, technology and quality systems.
