Admissions for addiction treatment in Colombia
You do not have to know every answer before you reach out.
Most families contact us during an uncertain moment. The admissions process is designed to bring clarity: understand the situation, assess clinical fit, explain the financial process and plan a safe arrival before anyone travels.
Email inquiries are welcome at any time. Response timing will be confirmed before opening.
From first conversation to continued care.
Tell us what is happening
A confidential conversation by form or email. Ask questions about clinical fit, timing, cost and travel without obligation.
Complete a clinical pre-screen
We review substance use, medical needs, medications, mental-health history and withdrawal risk to determine the appropriate level of care.
Receive the plan in writing
The proposed stay, current financial terms, exclusions, payment terms and travel requirements are documented before you commit.
Prepare for a supported arrival
We clarify practical details including documents, packing guidance, prescription information and travel planning.
Begin with a full intake
Admission day includes clinical and medical review, orientation and a communication plan for the people supporting recovery at home.
Leave with continuity
Discharge planning connects patients with local providers, telehealth options, family support and relapse-prevention structure.
How payment and insurance work.
Colombia Treatment Center is planned as a private-pay program. Any insurance reimbursement depends on the patient’s policy and should never be assumed.
- Current financial terms and payment arrangements are confirmed in writing before admission.
- Ask your insurer directly whether international treatment may qualify for reimbursement.
- Available payment terms and documentation will be confirmed in writing before admission.
- Known inclusions, exclusions and payment terms are provided directly and in writing before admission.

Online form delivery is being prepared. For now, email the team directly to ask about the planned program or join the launch list.
Please do not send medical records or detailed sensitive health information by email. A future clinical screening will use an appropriate private process.

Common questions.
How fast can someone be admitted?
Timing depends on opening status, availability, clinical assessment, withdrawal risk and travel planning. Admissions can explain what is known and what still requires clinical review.
Do you accept insurance?
Coverage and reimbursement depend on the patient’s policy. Admissions can explain what documentation may be available, but reimbursement is never guaranteed.
Can family members visit or be involved?
Yes. Family involvement is planned as part of the clinical model, with scheduled family sessions and a communication plan agreed at intake.
What if detox is needed first?
Withdrawal risk is assessed during the pre-screen. If medically supervised detox is indicated, it is arranged with appropriate medical oversight before residential programming begins.
Is the program in English?
Language availability and interpretation needs will be confirmed during the admissions conversation before travel.
